I am a student of electronics, and I am currently preparing to build a Champ 5C1 Amp for my capstone project. I love this old schematic! But for sake of my project, can anyone provide me with a modern schematic? Also, if anyone else has attempted this build, please respond, I would love to hear about your experience. Hi Rick, I'm in the process of building one but had prob.w/too high voltage out of plate xfrmr. Gonna use one out of an old heathkit tv alignment generator so I'll be using a 6x4 for rectifier instead of a 5y3. Don't know what you mean by a modern schematic?
