It should be able to run just fine a WAMP serevr (i have not tried it though). You wold have to modify the $serialPath (located in index.php) to point at the appropriate windows COM port. On my LAMP serevr its set to /dev/ttyUSB0 so you would switch it to say COM1 . You would also have to make sure Apache has permission to write to the COM port.

Hello, I have a 1481, i wanted to do some simple gain mods to, I read I can add a .01uF cap across the 1st cathode bypass resistor, I was wondering what you thought of this, and which resistor that is? Thank you for your time.

The schematic for the silvertone 1481 looks like it has no grid leak resistor for V1b. I believe that the 220K resistor right after V1a shoud be on the other side of the first .01 cap. to provide the grid leak for V1b.
