Potentiometers (pots) - For my pots I use Alpha pots.  They come in a few sizes including 1/4" diameter shaft and 3/8" shaft.  They are available from Mouser and Antique, but I have found that they are about $.50 cheaper from Mouser.  The shafts are also in either D shaft, which have a flat edge on the shaft, and smooth, which are cylindrical.  Make sure you get at right shaft for your knobs so they fit!  Solder lugs on pots in schematics are numbered 1-3 facing the pot with the shaft toward you and the lugs up, left to right.

Resistors - Resistors are cheap, so don't expect to try to save money here, go for a high quality resistor, even these will be around $.15 ea.  Mouser again is the best place to shop....see a trend?

Capacitors - There are a lot of companies selling high-quality audio caps for coupling.  In my experience I get wonderful sound from my $.92 Orange Drop capacitors, but there are other companies to check out all over the web.  If anyone has experience with these let me know.

Boards and eyelets - Keystone from mouser manufactures a wide variety of eyelets and the tools to install them.  You can also check out Hoffman for these supplies.

Switches - I use Mountain Switches for my high voltage standby switch and a Marshall copy for power.  Both can be found from....MOUSER.

Other suppliers to check out:

All Electronics Corp. - Resistors, capacitors, wire, misc. parts.

Angela Instruments - Transformers, tubes, chassis.

McMaster-Carr - Wire, circuit board material.

Weber VST - Guitar speakers, transformers, tube sockets, caps, resistors, misc. parts.
